Brief Description:
The purpose of this study is to see if the administration of minocycline will be helpful to children with regressive autism (autism with a history of loss of social and/or language skills). Minocycline is an antibiotic and will be taken orally in this study. It is FDA-approved for the treatment of a variety of infections and has been shown to improve brain inflammation in at least one neurological disorder. Minocycline�s anti-inflammatory properties may be beneficial in autism and may improve autistic symptoms.
