Oral Exams I  for Spanish 101

SKITS: ACTING OUT WHAT WE HAVE LEARNED

For your first Oral Exam of Spanish 101 you will be doing a skit with at least 2 other members of the class.  The purpose of the skit is to use the Spanish you have learned within a context that you and your peers choose.  The skits will entail team effort, individual practice, and creativity.  They should not last more than 10 minutes.  Your instructor will let you know the date of when you will be doing your skit. 

Requirements:          

1.  You may not read from your notes.  You glance at note cards or other visuals to assist you.  However, reading extensively will lower your grade.

2.  Everyone in the group must participate.

3.  Your topic can be chosen from the following list or you can have

another topic approved by your instructor:

The university

Student life

Professors and others at the university

Careers

Employment

Advertising

Travel

Vacation

4.  Your skit must last for 8-10 minutes or you will lose 25 pts.
