I was born somewhere deep in the woods of Southern Germany, grew up on the outskirts of New York City, and I now live in Ann Arbor, MI, where I graduated with a couple of degrees in rocket science from the University of Michigan. I am a computer nerd, bass player, model builder, bicycle racer, artist, philosopher, writer, explorer, and occasional teller of funny stories.
