Time-Correlated Single Photon Counting System

Commonly used fluorescence spectroscopic could not extract temporal information. With Time-Correlated Single Photon Counting (TCSPC) system, laser induced fluorescence temporal information about molecule, which is not available from spectra data alone, can be revealed. Thus, the acquisition of fluorescence decay curves by the system provides resolution and sensitivity that cannot be gained with other methods. I built the system at the University of Michigan.
