How write a research report for MII

1) Download all the research handouts and some MII research reports and review them.

2) Start following the market by browsing the websites on our links page and/or watch CNBC. 

3) Email MII at mii.ques@umich.edu stating that you want to do a research report. You can either be assigned a company to research or choose one yourself. Once you have decided on a stock, MII will email you professional research reports on your stock and sector.

4) Review the research reports MII sent you and start following the company closely by reading the current financial news relevant to your stock.

5) Begin researching in order to answer the questions in the research report format. If the information provided for you does not suffice download copies of the companies 10-Q and 10-K from edgar-online and do searches from other sites on our links page.
