Diffusion rate = [c * Area/Distance] [saturation-DO]
diffusive flux rate (mass per unit time) across an interface depends on:
c -a diffusivity constant characteristic of the material [in this case H20]
Area, -area across which diffusion can occur
Distance, -the average distance molecules have to travel
[saturation-DO] -the difference between what Henry’s law predicts
should be present (i.e., saturation) and
what is there (i.e. dissolved oxygen content or DO)
