Brain Injury Association of America is a website with a lot of information. They have links to State Chapters. Many of the State Chapters have their own libraries of information.

National Resource Center for Traumatic Brain Injury a web site run by the Virginia Commonwealth University. They publish online information about the National TBI Centers and there is a very good newletter TBI Today with helpful and practical suggestions about day-to-day issues in dealing with a head injury. You can sign up to have the newsletter sent to you automatically.

The Traumatic Brain Injury Guide - and online booklet written by Dr. Glen Johnson a Clinical Neuropsychologist. You can read it online or download it. He requests that individuals send him a donation if they can afford it.

Traumatic Brain Injury National Data Center - a website run by the National Centers Project to disseminate information regarding TBI.

National Institute for Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) - Along with information about TBI, there is information on clinical trials, summaries of research projects, and links to other types of brain disorders.

The TBI Help Desk for Caregivers - sponsored by a New York Hospital Rehabilitation Program, this website has lots of items for family and friends. This site also has information that is specific for problems that children face.
