Our studio would like to thank everyone we met in Traverse City for such complete openness to our fantasy project. Russ Soyring generally kept the lines open, and gave us a very useful orientation. Bryan Crough and Rob Bacigalupi explained the political and financial context (not that student work can reveal much of that). Diane Conners from Taste the Local Difference sat on the riverbank with us, and explained how the agricultural landscape remains the region's greatest asset. At the University of Michigan, David Lossing linked us to potential resources around the state. To make this work possible in the first place, Larissa Larsen shared the data and reports from her thesis students' much more comprhensive study from the previous year.

Thanks to all...
