_Rad.Img version 3.5c is an enhanced v3.5
distribution relative to that available
on the University of Michigan web site,
http://www.engin.umich.edu/class/ners580/
from 2007 to 2012.

This version was used in 2014 for NERS580.
Tcl/Tk and gnuplot are no longer distributed
with this distribution. Instead, instructions
are included to download and install current
versions of from primary internet sources.

The contents of
    _xspect3.5/_examples
    _xspect3.5/_models
have been removed from the distribution used
in NERS580. The examples include solutions
to each laboratory.

ADDITIONS/CHANGES in version 3.5a

-> _Rad-Img\_xspect3.5\_Examples

   This is a full examples directory with solutions
   to the laboratories. This is not distributed on
   the course web sit because it contains answer
   solutions

-> _Rad-Img\_xspect3.5\_Models

   This directory was added as a place to put
   new model scripts. Presently it contains
   scripts used as a part of standard beam 
   definitions associated with AAPM TG116.

-> new hvl routines have been added that permit
   easy determination of the Al HVL for any
   spectra.tmp file. Additions involve files in
   in _bin, _templates, and _doc along with
   additional source files.

-> _Rad-Img\_materials
   New materials added for aluminum alloys (*.txt files)

ADDITIONS/CHANGES in version 3.5c

-> _Rad-Img\_xspect3.5\_tcl

   New directory added with tcl procedures used to
   execute the *.exe programs using simple procedure calls.
   These replace the used of templates and use a syntax
   similar to what is being introduced in version 4.0.
   Labs in NERS580 were rewritten to use these templates

-> Some editorial changes in _doc files.

-> link.tcl file has been condensed and the Unix
   option now reports that Unix/Linux support is coming.

-> The documentation directory, _doc, with text files
   is synchronized with the corresponding directory on the web site.
