Environ 201/NRE 201
Ecological Issues
Program in Environment
and School of Natural Resources and Environment
Welcome to the Environ 201 internet resource page. The purpose of this page is to provide Environ 201 students with a single place on the internet to go for course information, including:
Because of this WWW site, you will not be receiving many of the handouts that would normally be distributed in class. You will be expected to come to this site to find much of the information needed to participate in this course.
Also, because of this site, you will have access to far more information about the course than is usual. We will make an attempt to put more information here regarding lectures, assignments, and tests than we would normally distribute on paper.
As this site evolves throughout the term, we will notify you in class and at the bottom of this page of new information and when that information is added. Please bear with us if this site gets a little rough around the edges at times.
During the term new assignments, handouts and other information will regularly be added to this site.
If you have any questions about this site, please send email to <Jim Diana

Over time we will add materials here to supplement lectures. I will try to include materials from the overheads and slides used in class, at least the data and chart slides (most likely not the pictures) that do not come from your book. They will be here as powerpoint presentations. You can download them and view them on powerpoint. Most likely if you click on the listing below, it will open powerpoint and the slides on either a mac or pc. However, if it does not you will need to associate the file with powerpoint, which should be on all PCs and macs in the university system. Let me know if this is not the case.
Also, if you do not have powerpoint on a home computer and still want to access these files there, you can download a viewer for your computer. Use the following method:
