Content
Keep the oral information content to a minimum so you need to "relay" very little. Depend on your visual aids rather than giving an oral presentation.
Each poster should have the following:
1. Title page (or large card) in bold print listing PAPER TITLE and NAME(S) of AUTHOR(S).
2. Page (or large card) listing OBJECTIVES of the study. For the sake of clarity, these should be brief and preferable in the form of a short sentence. In case of multiple objectives, they should be listed in order of decreasing importance.
Provide a label (sign) listing the title of the paper and name(s) of author(s) to identify your presentation easily.
Prepare and bring with you to the meeting all illustrations needed for your presentation (figues, tables, photographs, printed materials, etc.). Mount label and illustrations on the poster board by means of thumb tacks or pins only. Do not use tape or other adhesive materials, nor write or mark on the poster board. You are responsible for supplying your own pins.
