Dairo lives with his mother, Placida, his father, Dairo Orlando, and his two brothers, Orlando and Janer. Dairo is attending secondary school, which about a 30-minute walk for him. He studies very hard to try to excel.  He loves to play soccer and wants to become a policeman.

The community does not have toilet facilities, so Dairo's family resorts to open fields that contribute to poor hygiene.  There are training programs for parents on sexual and reproductive rights.  Also, in the assistance of decreasing child maltreatment and family violence, the community is encouraging and improving upon children's rights, youth groups, drug prevention knowledge, day care centers, and sports activities.
