Nadesh lives a happy, busy life in a farming community. When she isn’t helping out her family with household chores, she enjoys kipping, dancing and singing. She loves to hang out with her friends at school and when she has free time. Her favorite subjects in school are history and writing.

Like many of the rural areas Plan USA sponsors, there are sanitation problems, especially a lack of access to clean drinking water. She had severe diarrhea for about 6 months, but was able to fully recover after receiving treatment at a nearby hospital.
