What is PSO:

Anyone with an interest in Punjabi Culture, regardless of ethnic background, can join PSO. Whether it be interest in Punjabi Music, or Punjabi Dancing, or Punjabi Food--anyone and everyone is welcome to be a member of PSO. There is a $5.00 membership fee that allows you free admission into all PSO events (exception: Charity Events), and you can become a member at anytime during the year. If membership is not the option for you, then you are welcome to help out at any of the events and/or attend events with your friends!


Mission Statement:

The Punjabi Student Organization aims to foster a greater understanding of Punjabi tradition, heritage, and culture by educating ourselves and others while striving to unify our diverse, progressive community .

Goals:

• Fulfill mission statement by promoting social/cultural awareness via new and powerful events.
• Expand into the intercollegiate arena, with creation of a PSO forum.
• Build a stronger community within the Punjabi Student Organization
• Collaborate with other organizations and thereby share cultural activities and events with one another.
