Course Description: This is a course on traffic modeling and its analysis
in the context of IVHS (Intelligent Vehicle Highway Systems). Those aspects
of classic traffic theory relevant to IVHS are presented including traffic
flow and signalized intersections. However the emphasis will be on applying
the models and techniques of operations research to the optimization via
route guidance and signal control of large scale traffic networks.
Textbook: None.
