I was born in the summer of 1990. Robin got me the week she started graduate school at the University of Texas. I was quite a little spitfire then and didn’t really calm down until long after we’d moved to Michigan.
I traveled with Robin a lot and even spent a year with her in Germany. I caught lots of mice there. In Texas. I mostly found insects and an occasional bird. In Ohio, I was the queen of the bunnies. None of the people were ever very appreciative of my gifts, though.
I was an only cat for six years and then Robin and Susan started accumulating animals, starting with an orange tabby named Theka. Through all these new additions, I remained the matriarch and even in my old age, I was the boss of things. No dog or cat messed much with me.
I lived for three years with a variety of ailments, but never lost my engagement with my people. I made it to my 20th birthday, but then my body just slowly got to tired to keep going. I’ll always be Robin and Susan’s first and special companion.
