Communications Department
Mission Statement
We will become the central point of all communications for the LTBB Tribal Government Operations by developing comprehensive communication mechanisms that are trustworthy and reliable sources of information.
We will manage all aspects of communications on a timely, accurate and factual basis.
We will develop internal and external public relations and media management practices that ensure the appropriate handling of information while preserving the respect and integrity of the Tribe.
The department is funded from the indirect cost pool. Currently this is a department of one, a Director.
The function of the Communications Department is to publish the Odawa Trails, which is an informative newsletter for you the tribal member. This is done on a monthly basis. Another function of the department is to assist other governmental departments with mass mailings to the tribal membership.
