As stated in the History of Beverly Hills - Morgan Park, the railroad was another impetus for the settlement of this neighborhood.  Renovations, including removal of the small-paned windows, the cladding of shingles, and the stucco have changed the character of this building.  The gabled mass hints at what once was a sample of Queen Anne architecture.
