TASK:
Each student is to come to class with a one-page sheet (with enough copies for the class) of 5-7 lessons / principles from the course. Format: a numbered list; each lesson / principle should be one or several sentences long. If useful, you might also include a diagram, chart or illustration.
This last session will provide an opportunity to link common themes from the various course sections and develop a set of principles for good local economic development and analysis. Be ready to share your contribution and discuss and compare each student's contribution.
UPDATE: Alternative formats: I encourage you, as an option, to explore alternative formats (rather than a list of lessons): you might combine text, keywords, questions, illustrations, diagrams, timelines, etc. Creativity and insightfulness welcomed. You might provide a conceptual map of local economic development.
