I am an Associate Professor of Nursing. I am specialized
in Women's Health. When I am not working, I enjoy playing
tennis, running, gardening, and cooking. Last year, I
started riding a bike and found it very interesting, too. I
have two sons and a dog, INU (meaning a dog in
Japanese). |

It is a cherry bloosum season
in Japan. My brother sent me a picture of its peak, which usually lasts only a
few days. This is the time of the year I miss my home city, Kyoto,
most.
My research focus on pregnant women's exercise and Japanese couple's birthing experience in the United States.
I have my column bimonthly in Igakukai Shinbun (Weekly Medical World News).
