This is Tomoki. He is my nephew's second son. He was born in January, 1999. The last year of the 20th century. He is a person of 21st century. I could not imagine how the world looks like when he bocomes 20 years old, the begining of adulthood according to Japanese law. He has a big brother, Daiki, an energetic three years old.
I only hope these two brothers can enjoy peace and prosperity as we are enjoying at the end of 20th century.March 3, 1999

Tomoki is now two months old. His smile reminds me of his father (i.e., my nephew) when he was a baby. My nephew was born on Jan. 3, 1966. I was a middle school student. We lived together as a large family (my parents, my siblings, and my brother's wife). It was a natural way to live this way during that time. As soon as I saw my nephew, I was in love with him. He was my parents' first grandchild. All my sisters fell in love with this baby. It was so much fun to have a baby at home. He might be the reason I became a nurse-midwife. I just loved to deal with babies.
