A very brief history of the Gamma Nu chapter of Sigma Nu

The Gamma Nu chapter of Sigma Nu was given its charter in 1902. During the first several years after Gamma Nu received its charter, the brothers lived in a house on Oakland Street. In 1910 the chapter moved to its present location at 700 Oxford. The chapter has initiated 1720 members, and is close approaching the 2000 member mark attained by only a few Sigma Nu chapters across the nation. We are currently in need of major renovations to our chapter house to keep it close to its original condition and any alumni wishing to donate should contact us at snucapital@gmail.com or sigmanu@umich.edu.
