in School" Day, the National African American Parent Involvement
Day Committee is calling upon all businesses to do the following:
- Encourage all employees to support NAAPID.
- Provide release time, with pay, for those employees involved
in NAAPID.
- Adopt a school and support the NAAPID agenda.
- Provide resources to educational institutions, whenever
possible.
- When possible, provide opportunities for "shadowing,"
mentoring, internships, and employment for eligible students.
