I am a PhD candidate in the School of Information at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. I work with Prof. Qiaozhu Mei in the Foreseer Group.
My research interests are in human-centered data science, where I couple data science techniques with social science insights to approach behavioral problems across individual, group, and societal levels. I use mixed methods including machine learning, big data analytics, field & lab experiment, causal inference, and survey. I have been passionate about a variety of application domains, such as data science for social good, computational social science, the sharing economy, crowdsourcing, healthcare, and social media.
