We anticipate a return to in-person classes in the Fall of 2021.

We have received many requests from new families for evaluations in September 2020. All of these families will remain on the list (in the same order) for evaluations and classes in September 2021. New families should contact the program for language evaluations and classes for the 2021-2022 academic year.

The ENL program enrolls new students only in the fall. Parents of new students should contact the program before the evaluation dates, so that they can sign up for a language evaluation appointment on one of the Saturdays in September. Students entering the pre-K class must be 4 years old by September 1 of the academic year.

If you learn of ENL during our school year and are interested in enrollment next academic year, we invite you to visit during our school day with your child. Please contact us to confirm your visit.

The purpose of the language evaluation is to measure the reading level in Spanish of all students. The program is open without fees for any Spanish-speaking student. Students enter the program based on space available and their level of Spanish found through the language evaluation. Younger students should speak and understand Spanish well enough so that they can follow instructions and interact in the classroom, all in Spanish. Students who are in 3rd grade or beyond when entering the program should demonstrate language competency that is at grade level, comparable to similarly-aged ENL students.

Please send us an email en.nuestra.lengua@gmail.com to place your child on the list of new students for the fall. Beginning in August, we will send out a link to the schedule so that parents can sign up for a language evaluation for their child.
