UTILITARIANISM

A Utilitarian perspective is one where the decision is based on the belief of finding the greatest good for the greatest number of people.  An example of this could be examined by looking at welfare.  The government has decided that small sacrifices from the wealthy to benefit the poor does the greatest good.  This makes money do the greatest good for the greatest amount of people because the money is more essential for the survival of the poor than the wealthy.
