Jen
Essling Treasurer My name is Jennifer Essling. You can call me Jen. I am from Minnesota (ya, you betcha). My majors are Economics and Spanish. Two summers ago I worked as an intern (no wisecracks, please) for the Economic Analysis Group of Justice Department in DC. At work we often played softball on the mall. The lawyers and economists told me I was valued more for my arm than my intellect. Last year I spent the academic year in Seville, Spain and lived with a Spanish family. We studied Spanish literature and history and learned that the center of the world in not necessarily Washington DC. During the course of the year I managed to visit five continents, surfing in Australia and riding camels in Africa, I was able to do this because my mother works for Northwest Airlines and I fly for free. Although I have not determined specifics, I would like to study Law and Economics in the future. I am thinking of some type of international work using my language skills and perhaps teaching. If it doesn't work out, maybe I'll just sign with the Dodgers. |

Karl
Kowalske Publicity Chair Karl is the poor soul trying to bring you this webpage. I am in my second year at this fine university and have two avenues in mind for my future. I am currently hoping to get accepted into the A. Aflred Tauban College of Architecture and Urban Planning for the Fall 2000 year. Yes, yes, I have heard it all before...an architecture major going to law school? I am not sure what life has in store for me after my undergradute years, but I will either be in architecture or law. I am currently a member of Circle K, K-Grams, Lloyd Hall Scholars Program, National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and have experience in the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program. I enjoy hanging out in Ann Arbor and attending the games of our great sports teams. Any comments on the webpage can be directed to me (please be nice...I am new at this.) |
