UHERO Mission Statement

University Homeless Empowerment Relationship Organization (UHERO) is a University of Michigan student group dedicated to a three–fold mission:

1. To support and aid our parent organization HERO in order to benefit the homeless population
2. To educate the University of Michigan community on poverty–related issues, including homelessness
3. To volunteer with other local charities that aid the homeless in Washtenaw county

In fulfilling its mission, UHERO hopes to empower every individual it comes into contact with, as well as every one of its members.
