Michigan
gymnastics will always be a part
of who I am and my experiences as
a student-athlete have played a
significant role in the career path
that I chose in intercollegiate
athletic administration. In addition,
the feeling of being a part of the
team that started the 'tradition
of excellence' in Michigan gymnastics
by going from dead last in the Big
Ten my freshman year to winning
the championship my senior year
is unforgettable!
Those years were filled with continuous
growth, challenges, risks and achievement
that have made a lasting impression
on all members of those teams and
the coaching staff as well. More
significantly, my closest friends
are my former teammates who I shared
so many memories, struggles and
successes throughout my Michigan
experience. The amazing connection
and bond that we have as teammates
will last a lifetime, despite the
years and miles that separate us. |

Steve
and I welcomed Lauren Alexandra
into the world on April 7, 2005.
She is our first child and is bringing
much joy to our lives. I am an Associate
Athletic Director at Harvard University;
my husband is an Associate Athletic
Director at the University of New
Hampshire. (We have very different
job responsibilities with the same
job title!)
