Megan Ring started pretending to be able to Irish Dance as a wee tot
of about 5 years. However, she didn't make her dream come true until
1997 when she was 11. She first started her dancing career at The
O'Hare School of Irish Dance (Tim's school in Plymouth) and progressed
in competition to Championship Level. She is a four time midwest
regional qualifier (Oireachtus) and a 3 time national qualifier (North
American National Championships). College proved to be a little too
time consuming for her to continue dancing, until her junior year when
she found Léim and decided to re-ignite her love of dance and is happy she did because she got to meet a bunch of really
cool people!
Megan is now working towards a good ol' M.D. here at U of M, with a special interest in international health.
