Promoting and defending the dignity of all human life, from conception until natural death.

Who We Are
Students for Life is the University of Michigan's leading pro-life activist group. We are a secular, non-partisan group, and anyone who has a strong belief in the value and protection of life is welcome to join. We hold that human life is valuable from the moment of conception until natural death, and that the intentional destruction of this life is unethical and immoral. This destruction includes (but is not limited to) abortion, embryonic stem cell research, the death penalty, and "mercy killing." We are dedicated to educating the campus and community on life issues, working against apathetic views on topics like abortion, and providing resources to students facing crisis pregnancies. We are a proud part of the pro-life generation, we are abortion abolitionists, and we aim to see the end of abortion in our lifetime.

What We Do
We have participated in the March for Life in Washington D.C. annually and hold various events throughout the school year to bring the cause to campus. Additionally, SFL brings prominent speakers to campus, works closely with ArborWoman Health Center, leads protests and vigils, writes letters to campus publications, and holds office hours for students impacted by unexpected pregnancy.
