VIOLENCE : Words and Actions that Hurt People

What is Violence? We asked teens and this is what teens said:

Shooting, stabbing, cutting, kicking
Raping and sexual stuff... things people don't want done... forcing yourself on someone... talking about your body
Grabbing, shoving, choking
Words that hurt, putting people down, cutting down what they do
Cussing, name calling, threatening
Intimidation... trying to mess with their minds... mean looks... telling someone what to do
Stealing... taking away money... taking other people's stuff
