This section provides general information about a number of design resources
of potential interest to Michigan citizens, students and visitors. These resources
are listed by region so that it is possible to understand what types of different
resources exist in a particular area of the state. Each regional list includes
notable examples of Michigan architecture and landscape architecture sites
around the state. People interested in learning about design by seeing actual
works of design can obtain addresses. Smaller scale works of design can also
be seen by visiting the Michigan Museum collections. In addition, Michigan
libraries that have collections of books and periodiacls on design are also listed.
Finally, a statewide roster of collge and university design programs is
provided so that teachers and students can be aware of design education
opportunities in their area and elsewhere in the state.

This is in no way a complete list of Michigan's rich design resources.
The information listed is accurate to the best of our knowledge, although
information is subject to change.
