A Finite Element Method for Simulating the Electric Field Effects for a Charged Nano-Particle Deposition
A Finite Element Method for Simulating the Electric Field Effects for a Charged Nano-Particle Deposition
Abstract:
The following report details the steps taken towards creating a successful finite element method for the simulation of the effects an electric field causes to the deposition of charged nano particles on a flat surface.
The center focus for this project is to first evaluate the ability of this finite element method to accurately simulate the chosen topic. Once the FEM method is verified to be functional, chosen parameters will be varied in order to perform a case study to determine the effects of different electric fields.
