       This variable has been blanked to protect the confidentiality of the
       Respondent.
       NOTE: This variable was constructed for use as preload in Post-Election
       C3 (variable V001243), which attempts to ascertain specific registration 
       location of the respondent.
       It should be noted that, although county identification in this variable
       for face-to-face interviews meets normal standards for accuracy, the
       V000087a Post preload data for RDD cases were created by imputing area
       code, central office codes and similar listed numbers.  This method of 
       imputation has a certain amount of error, and for RDD cases V000087a
       (together with corresponding county FIPS codes in a temporary restricted
       variable [V000087t] accessible by special permission) should not be
       considered as satisfying NES standards.  It is the intention of NES staff
       to provide accurate data for county identification of RDD cases in an
       additional forthcoming variable (V000087b).
