In addition, in 1964,1968,1972,1976,1988 and 1992, if R replied "yes," that s/he did have an interest/opinion BUT responded "DK" or NA when asked for that opinion, then s/he was not asked this question and VCF0521 has been coded 0. In 1988 and 1992 only, among Rs who indicated that they had an opinion on the above issue, those Respondents who were asked which party was more likely to favor a powerful government were LIMITED to those Rs of the following two personal opinions: 1) The government is too powerful; 2) The government is not getting too strong AND the government should become more powerful.
