Personal Profile:
Sydney Franko is relatively new to sport of lacrosse as this is only her second year playing. During her first year she earned the job as starting goalie for her high school team and helped lead her team to a first place finish in the Metro League; as well as, a berth in the playoffs. Individually, she was named to the First Team All-State and won the Coaches’ Award. Her athletic background is strong as she was also a competitive basketball and volleyball player in high school. Similarly to lacrosse, she won the 2009 Coaches’ Award for both her high school volleyball and basketball teams. Outside the world of sport, Sydney was a member of the National Honor Society.
