Personal Profile:

Stephanie Gerretsen, or Steph as she is more commonly known, is the most experienced newcomer to the team. Although this is her first year playing for club lacrosse at the University of Michigan, she was a member of the club team at the University of California-San Diego from 2008-2012 (missing a her junior year with an ACL injury). During her final season, 2012, she was honored by being named Team Captain. Furthermore, her defensive presence was acknowledged after receiving the UC-San Diego Most Defensive Player Award and being named to the WWLL Division 1 All-Star Second Team-Defense. When she was not on the field for the club lacrosse team, she was competing for the field hockey team. Similarly to the lacrosse team, she was named Team Captain for the Field Hockey team from 2009-2012. During her senior campaign with the team they managed to win the National Championship.

 
 

 
 

College Career:

Stephanie received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Anthropology & International Studies-Sociology from the University of California-San Diego. She is currently in the process of obtaining her Master’s Degree from the University of Michigan in Sport Management.
