Personal Profile:

Sam made a dramatic comback from an ACL injury her Sophomore year. She returned to play in time for the National Tournament, and as captain there is nothing she would rather do more than make another run at the title this year. Staroba is an anchor on the defensive end of the field and a natural leader. When facing Staroba along with goalie Emmy Scheidt attackers should expect a struggle when challenging the Wolverines defensivley.

 

 
 

College Career:

Sam's goal for her senior year is simple: return to the National Tournament and play for the Championship. She majors in Political Science, with particular interest in current events and contemporary issues, while also participating in the Alpha Phi Sorority and the Alpha Phi Omega philanthropic organization.
