About Yallsif
Introduction
Hi guys! My name is Yousif Askar, and I graduated from the International Academy of Macomb
in 2020. I currently (9/17/20, this was written in) attend the University of Michigan -- Ann Arbor
and plan on graduating in Spring 2024. My majors, according to the previous date, are Computer Science
and Education, with a minor in Environmental Science, though that probably will change.
I learned about computer science through this free, online class by Harvard called CS50. I highly
recommend it to anyone that is interested / does not know what CS is. My idea for this website came
from BioNinja, whose design and information was perfectly suited for IB students, and, realizing that
there was no definitive source for IB spanish students, I decided to make my own using my learned
spanish skills as well as my new CS skills. However, I couldn't have done this all on my own, and thus
would love to thank the following people and websites:
- Preston Corless - the man, the myth, the legend. This guy is a coding wiz, and was especially useful in teaching me the necessary skills to create the Preterite Gravity Game. Check out his website here: it's one of the best gaming sites I've seen - the man's got some serious skill!
- More will come later
