Education and Outreach Programs department have the biggest growth in the past few years

Education and Outreach Programs "began" about 15 years ago.

A2SO reaches out to most of the Southeast Michigan (8 different counties) and north or Ohio.

Sales can go up or down each year depending on the programming, scheduling/timing, publicity, and economy.

There has been a decrease in season subsciptions, especially in the younger generations.

Our generation are single ticket buyers.

Younger people are more likely to accept morden music.

A2SO only have six concerts because of their given budget.

Rehearsals for each concert begins the week before the concert. (4-5 times before the concert)

Once you are accepted into the orchestra, you do not need to reaudition. The second year is a probation year. After the probation year, you can be considered for tenure.

Season begins at the beginning of September and ends at the end of May.

There is almost one concert per month.
