I've just been affiliated with the RC for a couple of years (this is my second year), so I'm also still learning a lot.
I have taught the following courses through the RC: History of the Symphony, Gender and the Arts, and Race and Identity in Music. There are further plans for me to teach a 19th century Italian opera course through the RC next year. In the list of requirements for the RC, that differ from the regular LSA requirements, there is a creative arts component - an Arts Practicum. This means that all RC students need to participate in some arts event - visual studio arts, theater, music, or dance.
I really enjoy teaching here at the RC because it seems to also involve students getting in to more depth with the readings and discussion.
