Audition Information
Auditions for the Michigan Pops Orchestra occur every fall in mid to late September. Stay tuned to our website in late spring or summer for information on our Fall 2008 mass meeting.
Auditions are open to all students, undergraduate and graduate. The Michigan Pops is a full orchestra with full sections of strings, winds, brass, and percussion.
For auditions, we require 3-5 minutes of two contrasting styles of music (i.e. fast/slow, legato/staccato). There are no scales and no sightreading.
