Q. How many openings will you have at Michigan next year for incoming cello students? A. We do not take a specific number, but rather focus on trying to attract and accept students best suited for the Michigan musical and academic environment. |

Q. What are your former students doing now? A. My students have gone on to important positions in the orchestral field, including cello positions in the Cleveland Orchestra, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Detroit Symphony, the Houston Symphony, the St. Louis Symphony, the Milwaukee Symphony, and the Vancouver Symphony. Other students have excelled in the chamber music field, including the cellists of the Chiara, Pacifica, Da Ponte, and Anderson String Quartets. Many others are teaching in prominent universities and in public schools across the country. |
