This creates and emotional bond between caster and subject through which emotions can be sensed, shared, amplified, or transmitted by the caster.

I have cast this spell so often that I no longer really need the coins. I most commonly use this spell to sense this hopes, dreams, and motives of those around me. I've noticed that multiple uses of this spell on the same subject slowly breeds an emotional intimacy which lingers after the spell has expired.
