Session 6
This session introduced Quinn, daughter of Corwin.
Politics ruled the day as Martin's assassination causes a breakdown
in relations between Chaos and Amber.
For a log which focuses on the activities of Jessica, Connie, and Quinn check out
Julie's log.
(Nope, Liz isn't doin' the logs any more)
Bleys arrived carrying the body of Merlin. Simon rushed over, but was stopped
by guards. Benedict, Random, Bleys, Gerard, and later Jessica, Locke, and Connie
ajourned to a nearby room. Gerard worked furiously to keep Merlin alive, while
Bleys informed everyone of the dire situation. Merlin no longer had a discernable
mental signature. Jessica and Benedict leave to attend to troop mobilization.
Martin is called to look into the possibility of securing a cyro-tube. In the mean
time Bleys does his best to put Merlin in near-suspended animation. Bleys shows the
characters present a note stating "Next time choose you opperatives more carefully."
Simon tries to read the past of both the note and merlin's scabbard, but neither
yields any information. Connie finds out that, since Gerard is clearly no longer
guarding Rinaldo Caine has been posted to guard him. Connie rushes to check on the
situation. Locke and Simon leave to discuss their theories.

note I few plans of action including finding the murder weapon,
contacting Jade, and following Merlin's trail in chaos.
They Trump Connie to tell him about their theories and to repeat
Locke's request for a Trump sketch of Jade. Then they go down

Simon stays up and talks to Flora during her guard shift. He asks her
about Trump cards and shadow time flux. Flora says that you should not
Trump people while they are sleeping, but suggests Simon asks someone
else about time flux. When Llewella relieves Flora and takes over guard
duties Simon asks her about time flux and she says that that would
indicate that the shadow lies close to Chaos. Simon thanks her and
goes to his room to sleep.
