This class currently meets during second hour. This requires more of a commitment to excellence by the student than Varsity Band. Students are expected to take private lessons. Symphonic Band goes on tour each year, usually in the spring. Common tour destinations are Orlando, Toronto, and New York City.

Symphonic Band members wear tux shirts, bow ties, and cummerbunds. Male members wear black pants and female members wear long black skirts. These uniforms are provided.
