Feeling a little overwhelmed now that you have to take care of everything yourself? We've got a few hot tips for you. These sites may not explain everything, but they're  an excellent place to start.

  • Learn2.com: The Ability Utility This site has received numerous awards for its practical advice on doing everyday things. From shaving your legs to changing the oil in your car, you can find it here. Also swing by Toiletology 101: Repair Guide. You never know.
  • For that matter, you never know when you might need to know how to tie a good knot. Those roommates can be so unruly sometimes....
  • Mind Tools Just got the syllabus from hell? Check this site out, it's got lots of practical tips for using your noodle effectively.
  • Class Scheduler You've just got to have a listing of your classes! Print one out here!
  • Alt.Campus U.S. News & World Report sponsors this set of links. They have all kinds of useful unformation! 
  • Stress Inc. Still feeling stressed? This site really won't help lower your stress, but it will help you appreciate the magnitude of the problem.
  • CompareNet - Interactive Buyers Guide! Need to buy some stuff? Be a shrewd steward of your money! (Also see Consumer World and ReviewFinder.) The Lycos Decision Guides are pretty useful as well. And, if you're looking for a used car, Kelly's Blue Book is available online!
