Wavelength measurements and provisional identifications in the region 3959 - 5002A of HD 101065. While the stellar wavelengths and intensity estimates are unlikely to change, identification suggestions are subject to revision. Most of the identifications made here were made automatically by recording all lines of even Z lanthanides within 0.06A of a stellar measurement in NBS Monograph 145. Additional identifications provided by material from W. P. Bidelman, who has been working on the list independently. As of 31 December, his identifications have been completely entered here only through 4949.73A.
Parenthesized numbers following spectra are from Meggers, Corliss and Scribner (1975), NBS Monograph 145, if not qualified. For example, 3959.48 Gd II is listed in this reference as having a wavelength of 3959.48 and an intensity of 750. The Gd line in Monograph 145 at 3959.52 is listed without an intensity, presumably because it is blended with 3959.48. Lanthanide lines with a "-C" following the intensity are from an umpublished list provided by Hannah Crosswhite to CRC in May of 1976. RC identifies lines from Reader and Corliss (1980) NSRDS-NBS 68. Er III lines with "wbbc" are from Wyart, Blaise, Bidelman, and Cowley, (1997) Phys. Scr. 56, 446. Dy III lines with "SSW" are from Spector, Sugar, and Wyart (1997), JOSA(B), 14, 511. Two Dy III lines (pSSW) were predicted from their published levels. These lines appear in the 1973 Johns Hopkins thesis of R. Hussain. For a few identifications, a multiplet number is given. These are always indicated by a hyphen following the spectral classification, and then the multiplet number, e.g. V II-9 indicates a line in Multiplet 9 of the second spectrum of vanadium.
