Executive Vice President, National Academy of Education Administration, Ministry of Education

Mr. Zhang has served as the Executive Vice President of NAEA since 2006, and has worked with the Ministry of Education for over 20 years. During that time, he has served as the Consul for Education at the Consulate General of China in Houston, Texas, as well as the Counselor for Eduation at the Chinese Embassy in Sweden. Before assuming the vice president role at NAEA, Mr. Zhang held the position of Deputy Director General for the Department of Personnel at the Ministry of Education. Mr. Zhang holds a bachelor’s degree in physics from Lanzhou University, and also served on the faculty at that institution.
